B | 医生也说，目前政府推行健康SG，让医生与病人建立关系，也能进一步提醒病人进行定期的筛查，进而推高全国乳腺癌的筛查率。乳癌基金会副主席朱博爱医生说：“如果你是第零期或第一期的话其实你只是切除相关部分肿瘤就很小的部分不用整个乳房切除如果第三期第四期才检测出医好的机会是少过50%同侪压力效果也不错如果你做了（筛查）等下你会问朋友为何没有做，我做了也是没有事，所以一个全体努力的方案会比较好。”国大癌症中心表示，尽管本地女性对于乳癌的意识高，西方国家是70%或以上，但筛查率确实比西方国家低许多，很多人因为个人或文化原因，而没去筛查。国大癌症中心肿瘤血液科高级顾问医生欧冠伟医生说：“可能会觉得乳房的乳癌的产生可能是不能受到控制的，所以他们是必须非常的需要家人的鼓励，很多人都以为乳癌只是产生一个肿块的时候才会怀疑是乳癌，可是其实乳癌是有非常早期的乳癌，比如说是摸不出察觉不到的做X光的筛查，在可以摸到癌之前做出诊断。”本地最新调查发现，在2023年，50岁到69岁的新加坡妇女中，只有34.7%接受乳腺癌筛查，同比减少约3%。马来族妇女的比例最少，只有16.9%。全国人口健康调查显示，去年在50岁到69岁的本地妇女中，只有34.7%接受乳腺癌筛查，同比减少约3%。
